What to expect in your first week

Your first week is quickly approaching, and we are so excited for you to get started! It's the start of an exciting journey. 🎉
After reviewing this article, your final step to complete onboarding and begin seeing patients is to navigate to your Onboarding Checklist and select "I'm ready to see patients!"
Once complete, patients will be able to book sessions with you. When a session is scheduled with you, you will be notified via email to your Nourish Gmail. Please check both your Nourish Gmail and Nourish Calendar frequently for upcoming sessions!
Join your live training and welcome sessions!
We host several live sessions weekly to support your onboarding and encourage collaboration within our clinical community. During your first week, please make an effort to attend the New Hire Kickoff Call, Nourish Standards of Care and Best Practices meeting, and Welcome Breakfast, as these are the most relevant events.
You can find the full meeting schedule, including Zoom links, on the Nourish Group Calendar. (Be sure you are logged into your Nourish Gmail while accessing.) A brief description of the meetings you may attend in your first week(s) is below:
(Monday, Week 1) New Hire Kickoff Call, 11am EST
New RDs are invited to join the Nourish team at 10am CT on their first Monday to get their Nourish career started! In this meeting, you can ask any questions related to Nourish policies, tech, procedures, scheduling, and more!

(Monday, Week 1) Standards of Care and Best Practices, 12pm EST
The Standards of Care and Best Practices meeting will be hosted by your dedicated Clinical Quality Manager (CQM) on your first day. They will guide you through all the details of initial sessions, as well as charting and collecting outcomes. Nourish RDs who attend this live session see an 11% improvement in patient retention on average!

(Tuesday, Week 1) New Hire Welcome Breakfast, 10:15am EST
The New Hire Welcome Breakfast welcomes new dietitians to Nourish every Tuesday! You’ll meet dietitians starting around the same time as you, as well as members of our Clinical Quality team who will be there to answer questions and share tips & tricks for getting acquainted with Nourish.
You are welcome to request reimbursement for a $10 meal expense when attending the New Hire Welcome Breakfast.
(Wednesday or Thursday, Week 2) Counseling for Lasting Change: Skills to Build and Maintain Motivation
This live session will dive into Nourish platform workflows and telehealth best practices, showing you how to use our tools to strengthen patient excitement and engagement. Clinical Quality Managers will cover practical techniques for creating meaningful connections from day one, guiding patients toward lasting progress, and keeping them engaged over time.

(Weekly) Case Review and Collaboration (CRC) Meetings
CRC meetings are optional meetings where dietitians get together to discuss casework, new research, trends in care, etc. CRCs are a great opportunity to build community and get support from other Nourish dietitians.
There are eight specialty-specific CRCs held on a recurring, weekly basis. You are welcome to attend as many as you would like and find valuable.
(Monthly) All Hands
All Hands is a monthly, company-wide meeting led by Clinical Support Leadership. In All Hands, we re-connect with our mission & vision, hear business updates, and learn from fellow dietitians sharing best practices and/or current research.
Access Your Reimbursement and Benefits Systems
During your first week, you’ll be prompted to log in and access the systems related to your reimbursements and benefits. Please refer to the timeline below to see when access will be granted.
