Expanding Access to Care: High-Need State Licensure

Edited

Help us expand access to care in states where hundreds of patients are currently waiting to see a dietitian due to licensure regulations! To support our mission, Nourish offers a streamlined process for obtaining licenses in our highest-demand "Red States."

How it Works

We provide two pathways for obtaining new state licenses:

  • Nourish-Supported Applications: You can opt in to have Nourish manage and submit licensure applications on your behalf.

  • Self-Submitted Applications: You can choose to manage the process yourself using our state-specific guides.

Reimbursement & Incentives

To ensure there is no financial barrier to expanding your reach, Nourish provides:

  • Full Reimbursement: We reimburse 100% of application fees for designated high-need states.

  • Licensure Bonuses: Providers are eligible for up to 3-red state bonuses for approved licenses in high-demand states.

    • Note: Bonus amounts and eligible states are updated periodically based on patient need.

💰 Bonus Instructions (How to Receive Your Bonus)

Once your license is received and uploaded to both CAQH and the Nourish Provider Portal, your bonus will be processed via Payroll.

  • Requests are reviewed each payroll week.

  • Payments are disbursed according to the annual pay schedule.

Next Steps: How to Opt In

Please keep an eye on your inbox! Following your first week with Nourish, you will receive an email containing a link to the Licensure Opt-In Form. This form allows you to select which states you would like Nourish to support or notify us of your intent to apply independently.

Resources

  • Provider Guides: If you are applying yourself, you can access our state-by-state licensing guides and CEU tracking tool in the Help Center at any time.

  • Licensing Reimbursement: Step-by-step instructions on how to submit your licensing application fees for reimbursement via Ramp.

    • Note: This guide also includes instructions on how to request a budget increase if your licensure costs exceed the standard allotted amount.
